Friends of Sidcup Police Station

are holding another QUIZ NIGHT on Saturday 18th September in St John’s Church Hall, Church Road, Sidcup

Arrive 7 pm for 7.30 start Tickets are £7 per person, including a Fish or Chicken & Chips supper (bring your own drinks)

Proceeds from the evening will be used to help fund the maintenance of the floral displays outside Sidcup Police Station.

The last quiz night sold out, was a success, so to avoid disappointment please book early.

Flower Festival 

To be held in St Johns Church on 17th -19th September. The theme is The Four Seasons and the proceeds will be divided between Demelza Children's Hospice and St. John's Church, Sidcup. Further details 

Sidcup Horticultural Association is holding their first illustrated talk on plant problems 21st September  Emmanuel Church Hall, Hadlow Road. The talk starts at 8 pm (open 7.30 pm). Cost to non-members £3.

If you join on the night you get both a 2011 annual Membership fee and entrance for £5 as a concession. The next two talks before Christmas are on Tuesday 19 October and Tuesday 16 November. The themes are The Pleasure and Pain of Growing Iris for the Chelsea Show by Ms Sue Marshall and National Trust Gardens by Mrs Joy Lee.

The Association runs the occasional Saturday coach trip outing - the Secret Gardens of Sandwich and Goonestone Park Gardens on the 11 September. There is also a short 5 day holiday in May 2011 planned in the Norfolk Area.

Charity Bingo will be run at Sidcup Recreation Club on 30th September at 20:00 in aid of FOAL Farm and Pop-in-Parlour in Hadlow Road.
